Welcome Teachers! Please use this form to request an HFFA Farm to School workshop for your class. We currently have units for Kindergarten through Grade 6.

Workshop Fee
The fee for a workshop for one classroom is $350. If you are able to cover this fee from your school budget, school council fundraising, or parent contributions, please indicate here. We will invoice the school. We occasionally have funds available to subsidize the cost of workshops. If you require a subsidy, please indicate below and we will put your request in queue for when funds are available. Please note that we may not be able to fulfill subsidy requests immediately. Use the Other field to enter an amount that you are able to pay.

Please propose three dates when you would like to book your workshop, with a minimum of 10 days lead time before the first potential date. We will confirm the best choice for our available farmers and finalize with you via the email address you provide.

Preferred time of day to start
Please allow 1.5 to 2 hours for the K-3 unit, and 2.5 to 3 hours for a Grade 4-6 unit, plus a bit of set up time. Workshop duration and content can be adjusted to accommodate the time available.

In these workshops students will handle food. Please indicate any allergies we should be aware of when planning for your workshop.

We will make the appropriate adjustments to accommodate affected students: if there are life threatening allergies to the ingredients in our food activities, we will not bring those items into your class. If it is acceptable to have them in the room and the affected student can simply avoid them, we will accommodate that.
Media Release: Are there any students in your class who do not have a current media release approving publication outside the school?
We love to share our stories on the web and in print. If there is anyone in your class who should not be included in our stories or photos from your workshop, please let us know. We have a media release form for HFFA available. Please request a copy in this field if you need one.
